Distribution of Hygiene Kits within WASH project

In partnership with YARD and within the project of Emergency response in water, environmental sanitation and hygiene for the IDPs in Al-Jawf Governorate, funded by UNICEF. Relief Without Borders organization (RWB) has participated in distributing 5,000 hygiene kits in three districts in Al-Jawf Governorate (Al-Hazm - Al-Khalq -Az Zahir). This activity is part of the strategic activities implemented by the organization for the year 2022. The project aims to distribute hygiene Kits and supplies for the purpose of alleviating the suffering of the displaced and the most vulnerable families in Al-Jawf, in addition to enhancing awareness among the community about the importance of personal hygiene and washing hands regularly.

Community health volunteers Training 

In cooperation with the Health and Population Office in Al-Jawf Governorate, and with the support and funding of the ADRA organization, RWB has participated and held a refresher training course for community health volunteers (growth curve section) as part of the Ikram project. The goal is to strengthen the malnutrition program and early detection of malnutrition by training 24 volunteers to serve health centers with expected reach to 5,920 beneficiaries. Participants were trained on a set of skills to improve the health and nutrition status of pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, as well as children under the age of five, and how to early detect malnutrition cases in children and refer them to health centers. They also learned how to deliver awareness messages, which helped the volunteers to deliver and disseminate them from house to house in different areas and villages of the targeted districts as the training conducted in April 2019.

Distribution of inputs and livestock items for Farmers

Funded by the World Bank and supervised by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Rawabi Al-Nahda Foundation with voluntary partnership with Relief Without Borders for Development and Humanitarian Response (RWB), implemented a project to rehabilitate small farmers and improve agricultural production in Yemen. This was done by distributing fodder and livestock to small farmers. The project aims to improve food security by supporting poor families to secure income and raise the level of access to food security in a sufficient and quality manner. It is also gender-equitable for the poorest families of 350 families, July 2018.

Distribution of Non-food Items (NFIs) for IDPs 

Funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and in partnership with the Yemen Al Khair for relief and development (YARD), Relief Without Borders (RWB) participated in the distribution of 1,000 non-food items (NFIs) to 1,000 families from the most needy families in Al-Jawf Governorate - Al-Maton District in 2018. As shelter projects are considered one of the most important relief projects that preserve the dignity and privacy of the displaced people, which they have lost due to the circumstances of displacement and wars in Yemen. .
